- Provides for development of diving equipment and
systems to support US Navy EOD underwater
operations. The equipment must have inherently
low acoustic and magnetic signatures in order to
allow the EOD technician to safely approach,
render safe, and dispose of sea mines and other
underwater ordnance. - PROVIDE NAVY EOD UNITS WITH THE SPECIALIZED
SYSTEMS AND EQUIPMENT REQUIRED TO MEET THE
