What does it all mean? WHY MELTING CLOCKS?
Dali once said that the mind and time are like
"cheese" that are full of holes (unreliable).
Meaning memory can be deceiving.
  • He was also a philosopher - interested in
    psychology
  • Shows an interpretation of dreams, reality, time,
    birth, death
  • Ants attacking clock anxiety associated with
    time.
  • Dali would often make up ridiculous explanations
    for his paintings to purposely mislead people
    (opened the doors for multiple interpretations)
