• The National Continuing Education Review Service
  (NCERS) was established as an arm of the NAB in
  1988
• Established to provide a vital service to state
  regulatory boards who monitor continuing
  education programs for long term care
  administrators

•  (a)  A licensee shall complete at least 48 clock
  hours during the preceding biennial period.

•    (1)  At least 24 hours shall be taken in
  lecture or computer interactive courses approved
  by NAB or the Board.

  developed the National Continuing Education
  Review Services (NCERS) to review and approve
  continuing education programs submitted by
  sponsoring organizations and groups.

  Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators (now the
  Nursing Home Administrator Program) agreed to
  accept the NCERS review process for continuing
