• Serving only 2 terms was a precedent set by

• Broken by Franklin Delano Roosevelt (4 terms)
• 1947 22nd amendment
• Set 2 term limit

• 400,000 per year
• 100,000 nontaxable travel expenses
• 50,000 official entertainment expenses
