  Griffith. Jack London is a pen name. A pen name
  is another name an author uses when publishing
  his or her books.
• London was the most successful writer in the
  early 20th century.
• He wrote stories of men and animals against the
  environment and their survival. He drew from his
  own experiences and used them in his books.
• His years spent in the Klondike region (arctic)
  affected him the most because this is what he
  wrote about.
• His works embraced the concepts of unconfined
  individualism and Darwinism in its exploration of
  the laws of nature. (survival of the fittest)
