Conduct and Work Habits
  • Assessed weekly and recorded in the weekly
    folder.
  • At the end of each quarters grading period,
    overall conduct and work habits are reviewed by
    the teacher and a grade will be determined.

Home and School Involvement
  • Establish a homework routine with your child.
  • Completing homework is your childs
    responsibility.
  • Check your childs work for completion every day.
  • Review and study for tests with
  • your child.

Lunch
  • Visitors are welcome. Students may eat lunch at
    a special table with you.
  • Lunch time 1200-1230
  • You may prepay for lunches with a check, cash, or
    on line at www.mealpay.com

Snack
  • Ice Cream is available for 1.00 and students
    should pay for it in the morning.
  • Snack Shack-purchase in the morning before
    arriving to class.
  • Students may also bring a healthy
  • snack from home.

  • Absences and Make-up Work
  • Send in a signed note explaining why your child
    was absent. No note will result in an unexcused
    absence.
  • A child missing a day of school due to an excused
    absence, may complete assignments when they
    return to school.
  • If your child is absent two or more days due to
    an excused absence
  • -Missed work may be picked up and completed at
    home. Please call the school office first thing
    in the morning to make arrangements to pick up
    assignments and materials after school.
  • Please refer to your student/parent handbook for
    what is considered an excused absence.

Conferences
Weeks of October 1 and 2, February 25 and 26
  • Parent-teacher conferences are held on early
    release days.
  • Other conferences will be held as desired or
    needed.

Testing Dates
  • CogAT September 17-21
  • ITBS October 22-26
  • CRCT April 22-26

Please be sure to have your child at school and
on time each day.

Promotional Criteria for Third Grade
  • Your son/daughter must pass the CRCT reading
    portion with an 800 (meets) score. With an 800 or
    better score they will be promoted to the 4th
    grade.
