- Display Real Time RF A-Scan data with
- auto-scrolling ToFD D-Scan image are
- displayed on the screen during data
collection. ( show video clipping of
Auto-scrolling ToFD D-Scan ) - No. of Channels One Transmitter ( Tx)

- Position Encoding It can be Freerun (
Unencoded ) or with Encoder .It is single axis ,

Hardware - Data Collection Length Can be selected from
500 mm to 10,000 mm. - Averaging Averaging is internally controlled
based on Selected Range/PRF and Test Length. - Data Storage Collected data can be stored on
USB drive ( Pen Drive ) . Each data is stored in
separate file with Auto Incrementing file name.
USB drive of 8 GB is supported . Total of about
16 Kms - of Weld length can be stored on 8 GB USB drive.

- Probe Cable
- They are a pair of Double Shielded Co-axial
cables of 2 meter length each with Lemo 00
connector on one side and BNC on the other . They
connect ToFD probes to the main unit . As ToFD
technique requires higher gain to be adjusted on
the machine the noise level can increase due to
electro-magnetic interference ( EMI ) . The
double shielding provided on the cable helps
keep the noise level due to EMI at low level.

- ToFD Probes
- They are highly damped, broad-band probes which
produce WIDE BEAM required for ToFD inspection. - One probe is connected to the Transmitter
connector ( Tx) and other to the Receiver
connector ( Rx) on the top of da Vinci delta

- They are Stainless Steel or Brass wedges
with Irrigation channels - ToFD probes are to be screwed into the wedges
which in turn are mounted on the Scanner ( using
the gimbals they are pivoted on the forks of the
scanner ) provided .

- Encoder
- It is Single Axis , Bi-directional Encoder. It is
attached with the Scanner using a bracket . - When properly calibrated it gives surface
distance of probe in mm from the reference point
. - The input available from the encoder gives
information on location of the defect and also
its length .

- The software supplied with da Vinci delta
ToFD System is called AsalView. - It enables the user perform the following
