2MMI2G MMI3G Installation
- To install the DAS receiver, refer to the
specific user manual - Warning on the connection of the power supply
cable - - RED wire (fig.3) must be DISCONNECTED.
- The switch (ON/OFF) of the receiver will be
controlled by the Fiber-Optic activity - - YELLOW wire (fig.1) must be connected to the
12V permanent/battery - - BLACK wire (fig.2) must be connected to the
GND.
Power supply cable
- Disconnect the original Fiber Optical cable
(fig.4) from one of the original multimedia
accessories inside the car (DVD, GPS, Amplifier,
etc) and match it directly to DAS fiber optic
female connector of the harness on equipment
(fig.5).

3- Match the two other connectors of DAS harness
(fig.6) respectively inside the original
accessory (fig.7) and the other one inside DAS
receiver (fig.8).
- Connect one of the 3 DAS Video-OUT (fig.8)
trough the adapter cables on equipment (fig.9)
and the needed accessory (DCABFK-RCA in fig.9.1)
with the Video-IN located on the original module
FBAS (fig.10) or on the Audi Multimedia module
(fig.11).

4The FBAS module (fig.10) is located on dashboard
passenger side (for A4-A5-A6 model) or on the
back of CD charger (for Q7 model).

The Audi Multimedia module (fig.11) is located
under the main monitor (for A4-A5-A6 model) or on
the back of CD charger (for Q7 model).
WARNING if the Head Unit module has not the
green fakra connector, the car cannot accept an
original or aftermarket TV tuner

To enter in DAS TV tuner push MEDIA, Source and
select TV Tuner (like original TV Tuner). Select
AV Ext 1 for DAS Video IN 1 - Select AV Ext 2 for
DAS Video IN 2 WARNING For the basic settings
such as color, contrast, brightness and format,
please refer to the menu of the car and make sure
that the format is congruent with the set menu on
the DAS.
