Reading and Writing English
  • Read 3 or 4 sentences from a list of sentences
    made up of vocabulary provided by USCIS
  • Write a sentence dictated by the interviewer from
    a list of sentences made up of USCIS English
    vocabulary up to 3 sentences need 1 good
    sentence to pass

Civics Test
  • Study 100 questions covering US History and
    Government
  • Oral exam at interview 10 questions need to
    get at least 6 correct

Pass or Fail?
  • You will be told at the interview if you passed
    no waiting
  • Pass You will be scheduled for a citizenship
    ceremony
  • Fail You will be scheduled for a 2nd interview
  • Fail 2nd interview You will need to reapply
