Celebrating Gods Creation
Celebrating Gods Kingdom
3
Animals are an expression of Gods love. God loves
all of the animals of His creation. Animals are
important to God and often animals are
instruments of Gods plan. Lets explore a few
examples
4
On the 5th Day of Creation, God created living
creatures of the oceans and birds of the skies,
God blessed them and saw that it was good.
5
On the 6th Day of Creation God created first the
animals and then created man and God saw that
it was very good.
6
God loves all of His Creation.
All the animals in the forest are Mine and the
cattle on thousands of hills. All the wild birds
are Mine and all living in the fields. Psalm
5010-11
7
Man was created only after God created the
creatures of the sea, the birds of the skies,
and the animals of the land. This should give
us some humility.
8
God blessed and loves all of His creatures of
creation animals are important to God and they
should be important to us! Animals were saved
from the flood and were made a part of the
covenant with Noah.
9
"I now establish my covenant with you and with
your descendants after you and with every living
creature that was with you the birds, the
livestock and all the wild animals, all those
that came out of the ark with you every living
creature on earth. Genesis 99-10
10
Think of how much smaller the Noahs Ark could
have been if it hadnt been for all of the
animals?
11
God often uses animals to be instruments of His
will, similar to the way God sends prophets and
disciples to do His will.
12
The paschal lamb reminds us of the Passover
sacrifice and the deliverance from Egypt.
Exodus 123-14
13
Jonah and the Giant Fish Jonah 21-11 (The
Bible never actually calls it a whale.)
14
Ravens brought bread to Elijah in the wilderness.
Kings 176
15
When Balaam was on his journey, his donkey could
see the Angel of the Lord, but Balaam could not
until God opened his eyes. Numbers 2221-39
16
Jesus was born in the manger because there was no
room made for Mary and Joseph at the inn.
17
Before the Angel of the Lord told the shepherds,
the caregivers for the animals in the fields
about the birth of Jesus
18
Before the Wise Men came to bear gifts to Jesus
19
the animals, the least of us, were there
waiting to receive their King, Baby Jesus. The
animals were there before we were!
20
Creation of Dog
Animals were there for the creation of Adam and
animals were there for the Birth of Jesus the
Christ Child. Animals are very important in
Gods Kingdom!
21
We celebrate Palm Sunday when Jesus rode into
Jerusalem riding meekly on a donkey.
22
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the
prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I
have longed to gather your children together, as
a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you
were not willing. Matthew 2337
23
Then one of the elders said to me, Do not
weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the
Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to
open the scroll and its seven
seals. Revelation 55
24
I saw heaven standing open and there before me
was a white horse, whose rider is called
Faithful and True. With justice he judges and
makes war.  Revelation 1911
25
The wolf and the lamb will feed together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox,
but dust will be the serpent's food.        They
will neither harm nor destroy        on all my
holy mountain,"        says the LORD. Isaiah
6525
Animals are included in the repentance enjoined
on humans (Jonah 37) and animals share in
Christs redemption of all of Gods creation.
26
The wolf will live with the lamb,        the
leopard will lie down with the goat,        the
calf and the lion and the yearling together
and a little child will lead them.
The Peaceable Kingdom
27
The cow will feed with the bear,        their
young will lie down together,        and the
lion will eat straw like the ox.
The Peaceable Kingdom
28
The infant will play near the hole of the cobra,
and the young child put his hand into the
viper's nest.
The Peaceable Kingdom
29
They will neither harm nor destroy        on all
my holy mountain,        for the earth will be
full of the knowledge of the LORD        as the
waters cover the sea. Isaiah 116-9
The Peaceable Kingdom
30
This plan, which God will complete when the
time is right, is to bring all creation
together, everything in heaven and on earth,
with Christ as head. Ephesians 110
31
Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be
glad let the sea resound, and all that is in
it let the fields be jubilant, and everything in
them. Then all the trees of the forest will sing
for joy they will sing before the lord, for he
comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge
the world in righteousness and the peoples in
his truth.   Psalm 9611-13
32
