There is no current cure for diabetes and none
envisaged for the foreseeable future Treatment
for the condition is currently limited to dealing
with the symptoms.
3FACT
This condition places demands on staffing
throughout a broad range of hospital, specialist
units and general practitioners due to the
complexities of the problems diabetes can
generate within an individual diabetic.
4FACT
Current government projections signify a
substantial rise in the number of people with
both type one and type two diabetes. An
increase is also being shown in what are termed
pre-diabetes symptom individuals.

- Our children are at risk too. Juvenile diabetes
is on the increase. - More children are now being diagnosed with
diabetes which, in most cases, is linked to
overweight, poor diet, sedentary lifestyle, lack
of exercise, or a combination of all of these.

The National Health Service is under an
increasing strain upon its overstretched
resources, Diabetes costs the NHS 10 of its
annual resources. The costs of diabetic
treatment are set to more than double during the
next decade.

things get tough. - We can help with diabetic depression (diabetic
blues). - We can help restore the feel good factor.
- We give support for those dealing with the
difficulties of diabetes.

- We help Clients to decide their diabetes health
goals and give support to reach those targets. - Clients will be provided with a blood glucose
meter, or for type 1 diabetics, a blood
glucose/Ketone meter.

- We will give advice on diet, nutrition and
lifestyle changes for living with diabetes, and
to reduce the risk of developing diabetes. - We can offer Hypnotherapy support to help deal
with some of the problems. - We will therefore help the individual but will
also relieve some of the pressure upon the
National Health Service.

- Obesity is a major causal factor for developing
diabetes. - Living a sedentary lifestyle without sufficient
exercise is seriously damaging to health and can
lead to obesity. - Eating a poor diet is a major contributor to
diabetes.

are soaring. The fact is, the older we are, the
