What Do I Have To Do?
  • Steps
  • Create a time capsule that best represents your
history. You should create this time capsule in a
presentation format. You will be turning in one
file that contains all of your time capsule
items. Your time capsule should include the
    following information
  • One primary source from your life.Remember, pr
imary sources are documents, images, or artifacts
that were created by someone who was an
eyewitness at an event or at the time of the
event. For your primary source you might want to
include items such as a picture, a journal entry,
a birth certificate, or baby teeth.
  • One secondary source from your life.Remember,
secondary sources are items created after an
event occurred, using primary sources as
references. For your secondary source you might
want to ask an adult about an event that happened
in your life that you were too young to remember.
Then you will write out a short story about that
event. This story then becomes a secondary source
since you are retelling an event using the adult
as the primary source for reference.
  • A timeline from your life.Your timeline should
include at least five important events in your
life. You should write a 12 sentence description
of each event and include photos or
    illustrations.
