OBJECTIVE

• To create awareness on the advantages of
  utilising Renewable energy sources among the
  rural population.
• To improve Technical knowledge, explain the
  manufacture, working and benefits of Renewable
  sources.

• To propagate on the use of Non conventional
  energy applications such as Solar Lanterns, Solar
  Water Heaters, Solar Lighting, Solar Cookers etc.

• To impart training in Renewable Sources of Energy
  systems.
• To motivate students in propagating the use of
  Renewable energy in society (Especially in Rural
  region )

INFRASTRUCTURE

• The College has demo kit to demonstrate Renewable
  Energy systems like
• Solar Lantern
• Solar Cooker
• Solar Water heater

• Students have made use of the equipment to
  explain the systems to people by going to them (
  in villages around college ).

METHODOLOGY

• Every batch of students will be educated in
  Renewable energy systems by conducting Seminars,
  Guest lectures and various competitions like
  Quiz, Essay writing Slogan, Poster Display etc.

PLANS

• To establish a RENEWABLE ENERGY PARK in the
  college premises and to produce Solar power and
  use it for our College Labs, Workshops and
  Administrative wings.

  College Hostel.
