17What are the advantages of this Mechanism?
Allows countries to express their actual
priorities Encourages countries to identify and
share experiences of success and failure, and
learn from them
18What are the advantages of this Mechanism?
All participating countries can simultaneously be
the sharer and the shared with. Not only the
country soliciting assistance receives a better
understanding of the lessons learned, but the
coordinating country is also able to reflect upon
its own evolution process. By so doing,
countries can incorporate the useful technique of
self-assessment into their institutional
functioning.
