How Man Is Saved

• Though there are many religions there are
  basically two ways for man to be saved
• 1. Man saves himself by his works
• 2. God saves many by faith in His Son
• The Holy Spirit of God is clear that man is saved
  by Gods grace through faith

• Man is a sinner
• by nature,
• by choice
• by actions
• There is none righteous, no not oneThere is
  none who seeks after God
• Romans 310, 11b

Meaning of Saved

• Delivered from the condemnation of Gods law
• To be preserved from the condemnation of Gods
  law.
• For God did not send His Son into the world to
  condemn the world but that the world through Him
  might be saved. John 317

By Grace Alone

• Grace is the unmerited favor of God
• Through the sacrifice of His Son on the cross,
  God freely bestows His salvation
• All sinners who receive Jesus by faith as their
  Savior are saved.

Gods Gracious Gift

• By grace you have been savedit is the gift of
  God.
• Gods gift
• Was salvation
• Paid in full on the cross at Calvary
• Nothing can be added to the price

How To Receive Gods Gift

• As many as received Him to them He gave the
  right to become the children of God John 112.

Through Faith Alone

• Mankind is divided into two groups
• Believers - He who believes in the Son has
  everlasting life.
• Non-believers - He who does not believe the Son
  shall not see life but the wrath of God abides
  on him. John 336.

Repentance

• Repentance is part of believing.
• It means change of mind. One must have a
  change of mind about
• Trusting themselves
• Trusting their works
• Trusting their religion

In Christ Alone

• Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the
  life no one comes to the Father, except through
  Me. John 146
• Peter stated Nor is there salvation in any
  other for there is no other name under heaven
  given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts
  412.

Jesus Invites You

• Come unto me all you who labor and are heavy
  laden and I will give you rest. Matthew 1128.
• Accept His invitation, in faith rely on Him and
  you will be saved.
• For whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be
  saved. Romans 623
