approaches to Alcohol Related Violence reduction
initiatives and services in the three selected
communities through coordination, liaison and
research, leading to the implementation of
evidenced based practice and actions plans.

• CARV had the collective recognition to
  influence. This is highlighted by the successful
  Select Committee representation on CYF Act
  changes for Liquor Infringement Notices and the
  significant survey work being conducted by the
  HBDHB.
• The needs analysis completed by CARV was also
• influential in the reallocation of available
  Police resources.
