Title: Deut 30:15-19
1Deuteronomy 3015-19
Deut 3015-19 See, I have set before you today
life and good, death and evil, in that I command
you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in
His ways, and to keep His commandments, His
statutes, and His judgments, that you may live
and multiply and the LORD your God will bless
you in the land which you go to possess. But if
your heart turns away so that you do not hear,
and are drawn away, and worship other gods and
serve them
2Deuteronomy 3015-19
I announce to you today that you shall surely
perish you shall not prolong your days in the
land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and
possess. I call heaven and earth as witnesses
today against you, that I have set before you
life and death, blessing and cursing therefore
choose life, that both you and your descendants
may live (NKJV).

How Did We Come About?
Creation
Chance
- There exists a force which is uncreated that is
more powerful than all forces of nature. - This force brought into existence things which
did not exist.
- There is no force greater than natural forces.
- The universe came into its present arrangement by
pure chance.
4The Bible Teaches
- A God that has always existed (Psalm 901-2).
- A God that has declared good and evil (Deut.
3015).
5Lifes Choices
What is the Nature of This Force?
Intelligent Personal Force
Impersonal Force
- There is an intell-igence responsible for mans
existence (and it knows our choices). - This intelligence has ordered the universe in
line with its desires (whatever they are).
- Although this force exists man has no
accountability to it. - All moral choices are left to mans judg-ment
alone.
6The Bible Teaches
- The God of the Bible is an intelligent
personality - He can speak (Gen. 13).
- He can be grieved (Gen. 66).
- He can feel joy (Luke 1510).
- He made the universe according to His will (Dan.
434-35).

Has this Being Revealed Itself?
It Has Revealed Itself
It Has Not Revealed Itself
- At some point in human history this Being
revealed Itself to man. - If one can identify this revelation he can learn
about this Being.
- There is no way to know if this being has
expectations. - Our existence rests in one whom we know nothing
about.
8The Bible Teaches
- God has spoken through prophets and His Son
(Hebrews 11-2). - Scripture supplies man with all that he needs (1
Timothy 316-17).

How will you follow Christ?
Follow the New Testament
Pick the Church of Your Choice
- Study the Bible to know what pleases Him in all
things. - Do nothing that has not been revealed.
- Worship only with those who do the same thing.
- All churches can do and practice different
things, and still claim to follow the Bible. - God did not know how to reveal His will to be
understood followed.
12The Bible Teaches
- There is one church which belongs to Christ
(Matt. 1618). - Division among Christians is wrong (1 Corinthians
110).

How far will you serve the Lord?
Do what God has Reveled
Do what Appeals to You
- When you die, God will welcome you into an
eternal relationship with Him. - In this relationship there will be no more pain,
sorrow, or tears.
- When you die you will be condemned to eternal
separation from God. - In this separation, you will never again
experience love, joy, or peace.
14The Bible Teaches
- Those who follow Christ surrender their will
(Mark 834-36). - Condemnation comes to the self-seeking (Rom.
25-10).
