Aaron, 17 known to pals as Wheels is the
first person ever to perform a backflip in a
wheelchair. He learned the feat at the age of 14
and had it accepted by the World Records Academy
last year. Aaron, who was born with spina bifida
and has been in a chair since he was three, said
It feels awesome to have the record. Being in a
wheelchair is like carrying your skateboard with
you.

own home.

Filling the bath with water Provide any necessary assistance to and from and into the bathing area (minimal assistance) Scalds/burns from hot water. Potential back/upper body strain. Injury caused by slipping on the wet floor. M L/M    M Water temperature to be taken prior to assisting with bathing (add hot water to cold). NHS recommend a maximum of 43 degrees Carers to adopt a good posture consider appropriate manual handling training if necessary. Carers to wear appropriate clothing and footwear Carers to ensure that floors are dry and spillages are cleared up immediately.
