The Ultimate Enterprising Test!

• In this test you will learn what kind of skills
  it takes to become a multibillionaire Businessman
  and whether or not you have what it takes! Make
  sure you use you scorecard to keep track of your
  choices!

What is Enterprising?
A person who is enterprising uses their
initiative to reach their goal. They have good
leadership and teamwork skills and have good
ideas that they can communicate well because they
are self confident and pragmatic.

The Story So Far

• The whole family is excited because youre all
  off on holiday in the morning. The suitcases are
  packed, everything in the house is switched off
  ready to go! Now all thats left to do is to get
  some sleep ready for the journey...
• 3am...
• Your alarm goes off and you jump out of bed with
  excitement, you cant wait to get dressed and
  leave the house. Your little sister is just as
  excited as you. When the taxi arrives your dad
  does a last check inside to make sure everything
  is off and locked up and...
• YOURE ON YOUR WAY!
• 4.30am...
• You arrive at the airport and start to check in
  when your first problem occurs.........

Day 1

• At the check in desk you realise that
• although you booked a window seat you
• have been given an aisle. Do you
• Make a big fuss
• Accept what youve been given
• Prove your booking and ask for the seat youve
  paid for

1. Youre not a very good communicator, but are
   confident
2. Youre not very confident, but ok with dealing
   with annoying situations
3. You show resourcefulness and confidence, but
   dont seem to care about how many problems you
   may cause the airline.

Day 1 (later on)

• Disaster strikes the plane has just
• exploded and is plummeting down. The guy
• in the seat next to you has started
• praying. Do you
• Move away from him with no thought of safety
• Ask him to pray for you too
• Yell and scream at him to shut up

1. This shows that you are scared at the situation
   and are taking it out on other people who seem to
   be coping well.
2. You arent thoughtful about your own and others
   safety, but at least you didnt have a go at the
   guy who was at peace.
3. This shows you are open minded because although
   you may not believe in it, at least you are at
   peace whilst the plane is going down.

Day 2

• When you get onto the island what is the
• first thing you would do?
• Help the injured and divide the injured and
  unharmed
• Try to keep everybody calm
• Join in with everybody and panic

1. This shows you are a confident person who can
   talk to strangers well but dont care about your
   own safety enough
2. This shows that you cope well with panic, but
   that perhaps you could do more to help people
3. You are completely useless at panicky situations
   and find it hard to step out. You are like a
   sheep in a flock.

Day 2 (later on)

• The original panic has subsided and you
• realise that you wont be saved this evening.
• Do you...
• Sit and wait for someone to tell you what to do
• Venture into the jungle to find food or
  civilisation
• Get everyone together on the beach and make sure
  they have food, shelter and warmth

1. You are not very organised and cannot do things
   off your own back
2. Obviously very independent and can cope by
   yourself, but u need to think more of the
   majority and stick together with the rest of your
   group
3. You like to have a very organised way of doing
   things just be careful you dont go over the top
   and feel you have all the power.

Day 4

• You have now been on the island for 4
• days and all the food that was on the
• plane has been eaten. This means that
• now you will only be able to eat coconuts
• and fish. Do you...
• Just accept that you will need to live
• Go off into the jungle to find your own food
• Kick up a fuss because you hate the food and not
  talk until you get your own way

1. You are very good at adapting to new things and
   situations.
2. Perhaps youre not the best adaptor, but you have
   the confidence to go off by yourself, which might
   also be stupid.
3. Youre terrible at adapting to new things, you
   need to hurry up and get your act together.

Day 10

• Youve now been on the island for more than a
  week and no one has come to save you. Do you
• Sit back and wait for someone to come, surely
  someone will come soon
• Try to put the plane back together
• Start collecting wood and start building a
  bonfire for smoke signals

1. You arent very realistic in your outlook. Surely
   if no-one has come by now, then maybe its time to
   do something for yourself.
2. You have attempted to come with an idea. Although
   it was a nice gesture, perhaps you are too over
   ambitious. Try to stick to things that are
   accomplishable.
3. You have come up with a great idea! Making a fire
   is probably the most realistic thing to do, and
   will give you and the rest of the camp hope. Make
   sure you dont always go off by yourself, get
   other people involved!

an entire week so that the smoke signal wont burn
out. People have started telling you to stop
because there is no hope for any of you. Do
