HOW DID IT BEGIN?

• I started with my Eagle Scout project, which
  requires one to do a service-oriented project for
  the community.
• I talked with a friend of scouting who gave me
  the idea of looking at a local Park (Carkeek
  Park).
• The Park gave me the idea of creating a Turn
  Pike.

WHAT IS A TURN PIKE?

• A turnpike is used to stop water from gathering
  on the trails.
• It consists of crushed rock, large heavy rock,
  lumber and rebar.
• Tools consist of Shovels, Wheel Barrows,
  Pick-Pulaski and Log Carriers
