• Introduction
• Toxoplasma gondii is an intestinal coccidium
  that parasitizes members of the cat family as
  definitive hosts and has a wide range of
  intermediate hosts. Infection is common in many
  warm-blooded animals, including humans. In most
  cases infection is asymptomatic, but devastating
  disease can occur.

Diagnosis Diagnosis is based on
serology by - Inhibition Fluorecent anti
body test . ELISA test
Indirect haemaglutination test And on
histologic examination of tissue . Treatment
- 1-Pyrimethamine 25mg every day (3-4) weaks
. 2- Sulfonamides . 3- Sulfadiazine . 4-
Sulfamethazine and sulfamerazine
