- The purposes for regulations, and compliance,
can include - Protect the publics interest
- Environmental and workforce safety
- Prevent market failure
- Reduce potential for fraudulent activity
- Promote markets which are fair and orderly
- Provide service standards
- Bring to justice those who fail to comply and
try to outsmart the government - And more.
