• Models are either 2-Dimensional (2d)
  or 3-Dimensional (3d)
• What is the difference?

2d models are flat and are usually pictures,
diagrams, or drawings 3d Models usually have
depth or volume and are NOT flat!

TIPS FOR MAKING GREAT MODELS

• Identify the purpose for your model
• Identify the type of model (2d or 3d)
• What will the size of the model be relative to
  the original (its scale)
• Be able to explain the important difference
  between the model and the real thing!
