3 EDCEP 111 University Experience
- Provides orientation to college life at K-State
- Teaches study skills, campus resources, career
decision making, academic planning, K-State
policies procedures, and personal/social
issues - Counts as K-State 8 requirement for Ethical
Reasoning Responsibility
4 EDCEP 111 University Experience
- Course is offered for 2-3 credits using a
Lecture/recitation/lab (optional) format - Lecture is required for all students
- Sections such as AA, AC and AE are lecture/
recitation only for 2 credits and open to any
student - Section CA is for athletes only .
5 EDCEP 111 University Experience
- Enhanced version (EUE) is chosen by more than
75 of EDCEP 111 students - EUE provides academic skills practice in two
targeted courses through guided study labs - Students who take EUE with 2 labs earn 3
credits instead of 2 credits - EUE is taught by undergraduate peer instructors
who serve as mentors during the semester

- In iSIS, add student to Student Group AC12 for
permission - Decide what course or courses the student wants
the lab to help with - Choose an EUE recitation lab that goes with
one of those courses from the list provided - Choose a lecture section from the list provided
- For help with a second course, choose a lab
from the list provided on the back page - Select the appropriate number of credit hours
3 credits only if enrolling in 2
