Purpose
Oh I get it! So, for example, my purpose
question could be Do I sell more albums when I
have a famous boyfriend - or right after we
break up?

• Why are you performing the experiment?

• Phrase question so it is specific and therefore
  able to be tested!
• Which brand of gum is the best? ???
• How can we test EVERY brand of gum?
• What is meant by the best?
• Which brand of gum, Bubbalicious or Bazooka,

Hypothesis
We hypothesize that well sell more albums this
year than last - because, lets face it, girls
love us!

• Based on your prior knowledge and experience,
  what do you think will happen?

• I think Bazooka gum will blow the biggest bubbles
  because I chew it a lot at home and have blown
  some huge bubbles with it!
• It is unacceptable not to make a hypothesis or

• Two packs of gum (one Bubbalicious and one

  inches.

Procedure
