Firearms
In UK, ownership of firearms is strictly
controlled
As well as being of good character Good reason is
necessary for a Firearms Certificate
For target shooting

• Membership of a Home Office Approved Club will
  provide Good Reason
• Cawdor is an Approved Club

Safety
Always assume a firearm is loaded
Prove it is clear
A firearm in your possession is your
responsibility
NEVER point a firearm at anyone
Never load a firearm unless on a firing point and
with permission
Loaded firearms MUST ALWAYS be pointed at the
target

Security
Never leave firearms unattended or on view when
in transit
Never handle another persons firearms without
permission
Never leave firearms or ammunition unattended on
the range
