Cinema exists if cities exist since cinema born
in cities and continue their life in cities.
The 80 of cinema products based on the
stories in which urban life and urban environment
described. Others are based on the subjects of
country life and environment.

Vigos About Nice (1926) showed to urban
approaches in that period. - American gung movies had also urban theme and
subjects related with Chicago and Broadway sights
in 1930s. - In the same period the French movies like Rene
Clairs Under the Roofs of Paris celebrated the
victory of socialist cinema and poetic realizm in
cinema.

showed the tendecy on realizing more studio work
and less outdoor shooting. - New wave approach in cinema about 1950 s real
urban scenes came out again. Like Jean
PeirreMelviles Two Men in Manhattan (1959). - Godard s Alphaville (1965) shows real
environment of Paris. Its subject shows us the
contradiction between center (Alphaville) and the
pheripheries.
