Fence for Defense

• John Williams, Mike Ballback, and Jeremy Diaz
• At the Cathance River Foundation, we constructed
  a split-rail fence. This blocks off a dangerous
  cliff called Barnes Leap. The fence posts are
  buried about a foot deep into the ground and
  supported by concrete. Attached to the back of
  this fence is wire fencing which will restrict
  children from climbing through the fence to reach
  the cliff. This will improve the safety at Barnes
  Leap which is a well known landmark in the
  Mid-Coast area.
