• Rules of Succession and some related murders

King Edward

• Died of natural causes but was necessary for
  rules of succession. He held the throne after
  Henry IVs death.

Henry IV

• Henry 4th Killed in Battle (Margarets husband)
  He was King before the battle and without his
  death, the throne would not be up for grabs. He
  was killed by Richard in battle. Was necessary
  for succession, but his death may not have been
  part of Richards grand scheme.

Prince Edward

• Killed He was killed in battle and was
  necessary for succession as he was Henry IVs son.

Anne

• Richard planned to marry Anne, and eventually
  did. Was not necessary for rules of succession,
  but was done to be favoured by Lancaster.

George, Duke of Clarence

• Clarence was just in the way. Richard didnt like
  him. What more can you say. He was Richards
  brother but was not above him in the order of
  succession.

Prince Edward x 2

• King Edward had two sons and decided to call them
  both Edward. What a brilliant decision. Eldest
  Prince Edward was to be coronated, but Richard
  spread rumours that he was a bastard. It was then
  not necessary to kill either princes (as the
  youngest was still too young.) Princes were
  killed after Richards coronation.

Hastings, Rivers, Grey, Vaughan

• All unnecessary deaths. Tragic and heartbreaking
  that they were cut down in the prime of life.

Buckingham

• He was killed because he didnt want to kill the
  Princes, who were brothers and were both called
  Edward and had a father called Edward.
