The Importance of Math and Science
  • As Tara mentions in the videos, math and science
    are key components in becoming a nurse and being
    a nurse.
  • Instead of taking a spare in high school, use
    that time to take science and math classes.

Role Models
  • Take a couple minutes to think of a role model in
    your life.
  • This could be someone in your family, a friend, a
    coach, a teacher, anyone.
  • You will need a piece of paper and a pencil.
  • Make a bubble in the middle of the page and write
    that persons name.
  • Branch off from that bubble the different
    characteristics that make that person your role
    model.
  • Keep this paper to encourage yourself as you make
    decisions for your future!
