  • The infinitive to base form of the verb
  • To make an infinitive negative, put not in front
    of it.
  • We can use infinitives after some verbs and after
    some verbs and an object (usually a person or
    people).
  • Finish these sentences by using an infinitive.

  • Infinitives can follow certain adjectives.
    Sometimes these are adjectives of feelings,
    praise, blame, or order of action.

  • Some people say that its very important to vote.
  • Do you remember if you were ever afraid to speak
    in English?

    adjective infinitive. DONT forget it.

  • Sometimes other people do the work expressed by
    the infinitive. Then we use of OR for people
    between the adjective and the infinitive.
  • Maybe its difficult for you to speak English,
    but its almost impossible for me to speak
    Spanish, French and Vietnamese.
