• How is correctness ensured for concurrent
  programs with library-based threading and locking
  primitives that are unknown to the compiler?
• Why doesnt the same approach work for NBS
  algorithms?
• Would it help if the code made appropriate use of
  a mechanism such as Hazard Pointers?
• What other issues cause problems?
