  • Alexander Graham Bell only attended school for 5
    years, from the time he was 10 until he was 14,
    but he never stopped learning.

The Telephone
  • The Telephone was invented on March 10th, 1876,
    in Boston Massachusetts by Alexander Graham Bell.

How The Telephone Works
  • When you talk into a telephone, the microphone
    inside of the mouthpiece transforms the sound
    waves into electric impulses.

How The Telephone Works
  • These sound waves are sent through the cable to
    the ear piece of the other persons receiver which
    they are listening.
  • This turns the impulses into sounds which are
    nearly identical to the sound made by the caller,
    so from the impulses sent it sounds like they are
    standing right next to you.
