Story of how Queen Sheba and King Solomon met
  • Queen Sheba heard about King Solomon and what a
    wonderful man he was. She arranged to travel to
    see him. She spent 6 months in Jerusalem learning
    all the wisdom she could from the noble king. She
    was preparing for her journey back to Axum when
    King Solomon tricked her into bearing his child.
    Her sons name was Menelik I. He was the first
    Ethiopian King in the line of King Solomon.

    line of rulers went on until 1974. Emperor Haile
    Selassie was removed from power during the
    revolution. He was the 225th monarch in the

  • The Ethiopians, Nubians, and Egyptians all
    developed around 4,000 to 1,000 B.C. The trading
    empire was starting to grow around 2700 B.C. It
    grew over the years and people began to depend on
    the empire. Its last monarch dynasty was removed
    from power in 1974. He was the 225th monarch in
    the Ethiopian dynasty.
