What is Green Cleaning?

• Green Cleaning is part of an initiative for
  Sustainable Practices by using environmentally
  responsible products.
• Simply put, Green Cleaning is a method of
  cleaning that uses environmentally friendly
  products which are packaged in recyclable
  containers, reduces indoor air-pollution,
  minimizes waste, and has reduced health safety
  risks.

What is Rose-Hulman currently doing?

• We have implemented the use of Microfiber Cloths,
  Dust-Wands, and Dust Mops.
• Microfiber reduces our usage of paper-products,
  thus reducing our waste stream.
• Microfiber is reusable and is proving itself to
  be very durable.

What is Rose-Hulman currently doing?

• We are in the process of eliminating all aerosol
  products.
• We have eliminated household cleaning products
  such as bleach vinegar.
• We have began to reduce the number of products in
  Ready-To-Use bottles.
• We have increased our use of Green Seal Certified
  Ready-To-Dispense Cleaners.

• All Academic and Administrative buildings
  maintained by Custodial Services (Facilities
  Operations) are being cleaned by the Green Seal
  standards.
