The Priesthood Today

• We do not wear the garments of the Levitical
  priests, nor do we offer the sacrifices of the
  Levitical priests in the tabernacle, yet many
  principles of priestly service are the same
• We must serve as holy priests, separate from
  sin (1 Pet. 21,5,11)

• The priests must be consecrated to the service of
  the Lord, just like today (Lev. 822,28,29,33
  Heb. 1020)
• The priests must offer only that which is
  commanded by the Lord, just like today

• The priests had to be sober teachers, just like
  today (Lev. 108-11 Tit. 22,4,6,12)

• The priests could not become unclean, just like

• The priests had marriage restrictions, just like
  today (Lev. 217,13-14 Mt. 199 Rom. 72-3)
• The priests had to keep pure families, just like
  today (Lev. 219 Eph. 61-4)
• The priests had to offer the best, just like
  today (Lev. 2221 Rom. 121)

• The priesthood is an honorable charge to be
  cherished greatly
• The priesthood is a serious charge, not to be
  taken lightly
