Astrology - the belief that human events are
determined by the positioning of the stars and
planets at the time of ones birth. Astrologers
claim to be able to interpret the future with
mystical powers of knowledge of the stars, etc.

Astrology causes people to trust in their
horoscope (Newspaper) instead of looking to Gods
word (Bible).
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17
that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly
equipped for every good work.

MAKES SLAVES OF ITS FOLLOWERS.
Those approximate 32,000,000 people who
faithfully follow their horoscope become slaves
to its predictions.
16 Do you not know that to whom you present
yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's
slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to
death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?
17 But God be thanked that though you were slaves
of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form
of doctrine to which you were delivered. 18 And
having been set free from sin, you became slaves
of righteousness. 19 I speak in human terms
because of the weakness of your flesh. For just
as you presented your members as slaves of

we are subject to the destiny made for us by the
cosmos.

Astrology forces people to give credit (worship)
to the sun, moon, stars, and planets instead of
God.
"And take heed, lest you lift your eyes to
heaven, and when you see the sun, the moon, and
the stars, all the host of heaven, you feel
driven to worship them and serve them, which the
LORD your God has given to all the peoples under
the whole heaven as a heritage.

Astrology, at its best, is only a wild guess
(make up anything). If it finds application in
someones life, it is totally by chance.
10 The Chaldeans answered the king, and said,
"There is not a man on earth who can tell the
king's matter therefore no king, lord, or ruler
has ever asked such things of any magician,
astrologer, or Chaldean. 11 "It is a difficult
thing that the king requests, and there is no
other who can tell it to the king except the
gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.

The heavens declare the glory and majesty of God,
(Psalms 191) but they do not guide our spiritual
lives.
We must look to God through His word to direct us
in our lives leaning, depending, trusting upon
Him to guide us through this life into the life
to come.
