place where they can live and grow and share
their lives with others.

- A husband and wife were recipients of benevolent
care. He said, It is hard for me to know that
someone else is helping pay my bills, but it does
relieve so much of my worry. I can be more
cheerful around my wife. We still enjoy times
together when she has a good day. - His daughter has noticed a positive change in
him since the burden of debt had been eased. She
said he hates to see Momma in her condition, but
we are so grateful to McKendree Village and the
people who give to the Golden Cross fund for
benevolent care. I dont know what we would have
done without it!

Hospital, providing pastoral interns to McKendree
