• Climate processes, feedbacks and their timescales
  imply that anthropogenic warming and sea level
  rise would continue for centuries even if
  greenhouse gas concentrations were to be
  stabilised.

GREEN SCHOOLS AWARD, India
Government Senior Secondary School Boormajra,
Ropar district, Punjab,

• Reduced stress on resources like energy and water
• Although it does not have a rainwater harvesting
  system, the school harvests water spilling from
  taps
• In this way, it reuses around 60 per cent of the
  wastewater it generates
• Data on the number of staff/students walking or
  bicycling to school is maintained
