Alexander Hamilton Fixes the Economy
  • 1. Financial Trouble
  • Federal state governments had borrowed money to
    pay for the American Revolution debt to
    other countries and to American citizens

    debt of state governments.

  • Southern States dislike that the federal
    government would pay ALL states debt Southern
    States had built less debt than Northern States.

    capital is moved to the South Washington, DC
