Checkout procedures
  • Books and magazines are checked out for two weeks
  • To renew a book, you must have it with you
  • Magazines are checked out in plastic envelopes
    and must be returned in the envelope

Checkout procedures
  • You can reserve a book that is checked out to
    another student
  • Tell Mrs. Hamilton or Mrs. Pillow the title of
    the item you want, and you will be added to the
    waiting list
  • When your book is in, we will put your name in
    the bulletin to notify you that you can pick it
    up.

While youre in the library
  • Be respectful of students and teachers who are
    working or reading (students often make up tests
    in the library).
  • If you are with your class, stay on task and pay
    attention to the lesson.
  • If you are on a pass, look quietly for a book and
    do not talk to other students.

    ask Mrs. Hamilton, Mrs. Pillow, or your teacher
    for help.
