Purpose

• Many of our students do not learn the hidden
  rules of the business world at home. These are
  skills they need to be successful in the careers
  we are preparing them for.
• Rather than just providing consequences when
  students dont follow these rules, we will
  educate them on the expectations.

• Professional courtesy, language, dress
• Goal setting and achievement
• Ethical use of technology

Teaching ES

• Discuss the employability skills
• Model correct behaviors
• Teach correct behaviors
• Use the assessments to guide the student
  improvement process, short term rewards, and
  intern placement.

Review

• ES Grades are a primary component of the student
  improvement process. They provide concrete
  evidence of those student in need of assistance.

Process

• Teachers receive an Excel file with all of their
  kids listed in it.
• The file is combined, averaged, then returned to
  teachers so they can plan an improvement strategy
  with their students.
• For advisory students, the students information
  is shared with students and parents in a
  graphical format.
