Regular ER and IR Preterite verbs

• Regular verbs ending in er and ir have the same
  endings in the Preterite tense. To conjugate
  these verbs, drop the infinitive ending and add
• yo -í nosotros -imos
• tú -iste vosotros -isteis
• él / ella / Ud -ió ellos / Uds -ieron
• Notice the accents in the yo and the él /
  ella / Ud forms !!

• COMER to eat
• yo comí nosotros comimos
• tú comiste vosotros comisteis
• él / ella / Ud comió ellos / Uds comieron
• VIVIR to live
• yo viví nosotros vivimos
• tú viviste vosotros vivisteis
• él / ella / Ud vivió ellos / Uds vivieron
