• The ability of a computer or other machine to

• Technologies that measure and analyze human
  physical and behavioral characteristics for
  authentication purposes.
• Examples of physical characteristics include
  fingerprints, eye retinas and irises, facial
  patterns and hand measurements, while examples of
  mostly behavioral characteristics include
  signature, and typing patterns.

• Computers are increasingly conditioning the kind

  look for trends or anomalies.
• Invented by IBM who hold some related patents.

Federal Communications Commission (FCC)

• Established by the Communications Act of 1934 and
  is charged with regulating interstate and
  international communications by radio,
  television, satellite and cable.

Global Positioning System (GPS)

• A system of satellites, computers, and receivers
  that is able to determine the latitude and
  longitude of a receiver on Earth by calculating
  the time difference for signals from different
  satellites to reach the receiver.
• Started in Military, now it is found in cellular
  phones.

• The connection of individuals through a network
  of computer technology.
• Having the ability to communicate through phones,
  computers, internet give the senses of close
  proximity.

  has been gathered or received by communication,
  intelligence, or news.
• Information is made for data.

  that includes the Internet and other networks.
• Networks include switching systems such as
  telephone networks, cable television networks,

  the abundant publication, consumption, and

• Mostly from computers and computer networks.

• The NII refers to that system of advanced

  States that make electronic information widely
  available and accessible.

• A conference held among people in different
  locations by means of telecommunications
  equipment, such as a closed-circuit television
• Using video allows you to see the person.

• The use of telecommunications technology to
  provide, enhance, or expedite health care
  services by accessing off-site databases.
• This links clinics and physician's offices to
  central hospitals.
• X-rays and other diagnostic images can be sent
  from site to site.
