One upon a time, there was a girl named
Cinderella. Her father remarried after her mother
had passed away. Her new stepmother had two
daughters. Soon afterwards, Cinderellas father
passed away. Cinderella had to be raised by her
new step mother. Her step mother was not very
nice to Cinderella. Cinderella became the help
for the home instead of being treated as a
daughter.

One day, Cinderella was taking orders from her
step mother for her daily chores. In order to
complete her chores, Cinderella had to walk up
and down 100.5 stairs. If there are 4 ½ flights
of stairs in the house, how many steps are in
each flight?

100.5 is the total number of steps. There are 4 ½
flights of stairs, so if you divide 100.5 by 4.5
to see how many steps there are per flight of
stairs. So, we can see in the equation that there
are 22 1/3 steps per flight of stairs.

Cinderella lived happily ever after when she met
her prince and married him. Even though the
equations she solved in her marriage were way
more difficult than before she married, she never
regretted it. The End
