• On paper it is hard to beat, but..
• Some unconfirmed rumors about the future of the
  Sands Convention Center
• Waning interest in staying there from both
  exhibitors and retailers

• Greener, cleaner and leaner
• Change is good, change might be welcomed

• CONS
• Salt Palace will not come close to accommodating
  the 3,100 booths with current floor plan
  configurations
• Individual spaces in main exhibit area will need
  to be created as peninsulas
• 300 - 400 booths in ancillary Convention Center
  spaces still needed
• Space growth opportunities will be very
  challenging
• Interbikes host lodging options sometimes as far
  as 20 miles from Expo
• Increases in average air fare rates, no direct
  international flights
