Computer Equipment Required
  • NONE
  • No home PC needed library is fine
  • Use library if home PC not working well
  • MS Office occasionally needed
  • Free Open Office is okay but not tutorials for
    all
  • No need for Open Office if you have MS Office
  • Instructions mostly for Windows, but Macintosh OS
    is okay
  • Submit through moodle first but email if moodle
    does accept your assignment.

Time Management
  • Review the assignment at the beginning of the
    week  (allow 1 hour) 
  • Check your email for updates and announcements
    (at least every other day) 
  • Post the first part of any required two step
    assignment (This only occurs some weeks.) 
  • Do the majority of the reading and activities
    (allow 3 - 4 hours and preferably break it into a
    couple days) 
  • check the social cafe to read updates and to
    offer help (at least twice a week)
  • Work on the semester long projects ( Semester
    Long Project 1 - Create and Use Tutorials
     Semester Long Project 2 - HTML and CSS )
    (allow 1 hour)

    class.
  • NOT just homework assignments.
