commission approval. - Still must comply with zoning ordinances and
other building code laws zoning restrictions. - These restrictions are enforced through the
Building Codes and Planning Departments. - The properties are recorded directly with the
Register of Deeds office and Mapped and prepared
for appraisal by the Assessors. - Agricultural properties over 5 Acres and that
produce at least 1500 a year of agricultural
product are available for tax breaks and is some
instances homestead tax relief.

purchase in 1998. - The population of Rutherford County has steadily
grown each year and is projected to reach 226,778
in 2010. - Along with population increases you get increased

infrastructure and services

- Data isnt cheap. It takes a lot of equipment,
staff, processing, and skills to create the data
needed for a GIS - Development Tax is funded by all municipalities
and the county
