• Preaching the truth convicts the repentant heart

• Repentance shows itself in fruits (Jonah 310

• God is longsuffering, not wishing that any should
  perish (Jonah 310 41-2,11 2 Pet. 39 Rev.
  221)
• Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a
  reproach (Jonah 34,10 Prov. 1434)

Lessons Learned

• God has two sides goodness and severity mercy
  for the repentant Nineveh of Jonah (310) and
  wrath for the unrepentant Nineveh of Nahum
  (12-8 Rom. 25 1122 1219-21 Heb.
  1030-31 1229)
• Each generation must have an individual
  relationship with God no ones spiritual life
  can be handed off to another (compare the
  repentant Nineveh of Jonah 35-9 with the wicked
  Nineveh of Nahum 19-15 319)
