It all starts with the pup. the alpha wolf breeds
between January and April. A litter is up to 6-7
pups. Pups are blind for about 63 day after a
gestation. The whole pack cares for the pup and
gives it regurgitated meat after hunts.

This is a pup after 5 weeks approaching adult
size by early winter. By Autumn the pup are ready
to hunt with the pack. After 2 years the wolf is
ready to leave the pack and find its own mate.

is the adult. The has found a mate and already
